As Mary Hilja departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Mary Hilja may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Mary Hilja leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles A. Julian and Hilja Mary Julian (Maki); and her brothers, Lawrence Julian of Weymouth and John Julian of Louisiana. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Elizabeth Aho, Arnold Aho of Quincy, John Aho (Deanna) of Bridgewater and Helena Wright (Greg) of Upper Darby, PA. She is also survived by several nephews, several nieces and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Deware Funeral Home (576 Hancock St, Quincy, MA 02170). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pine Hill Cemetery (815 Willard St, Quincy, MA 02169).
