It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard W. Murphy in Quincy, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 7, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Carol (Fransen); his children, Jeremiah (Carrie Sipple), Walden and Desmond; his sister Anne Murphy; and his nieces, Kate Dwyer Dustin (Matt) and Mary Mattheis (Geoff).

Niece Michele Fransen Conroy (Thomas spouse) and Ryan and Patrick, Nancy Fransen, Vivian Fransen (Robert Kubli spouse).Contributions may be made to the Food Bank, Church of the Holy Faith and Sierra Club.
