It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald P. Shorton of Quincy, Massachusetts, born in Newton, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 28, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Shorton and Eleanor R. Shorton (Antonellis); his grandson Terry J. Shorton; and his brother Terrence L. Shorton. He is survived by: his spouse Gail E. Shorton (Smith); his children, Jacqueline Rae O'Connell (Robert) of Quincy, Janelle E. Piselli (Jason) of Bellingham and Ashley E. Laudon (David) of Blackstone; his grandchildren, Christian A. O'Connell, Analisa G. Piselli, Jason B. Piselli, Jr., James R. Piselli, Brandon T. Laudon and Isabelle M. Laudon; and his brother John B. Shorton, Jr. (Prudence) of Norwood. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
