He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter R. Tausevich and Margaret A. Tausevich (Smith). He is survived by: his wife Joan Preble; his children, Wally, Joan, Wareham, Mark S. Tausevich (late Judy) of Plymouth, Dawn E. Tausevich O'Toole (David) of Waterbury, VT, Scott M. Tausevich (Debbie) of Middleboro and David M. Tausevich of Boston; his grandchildren, Kayla Tausevich O'Toole of Waterbury, VT. and Liam Tausevich O'Toole of Waterbury, VT.; and his siblings, Raymond T. Tausevich of Quincy, Ronald G. Tausevich of Quincy and Dianne Lydon of Quincy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Wally's memory may be made to Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute or Florida Oceanographic Society.
