He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfonzo and Genieve (D'Amore); his wife Margaret (Margareci); and his sister Mary Alba. He is survived by: his children, Paul Ambrosino (Joan) of Peabody and Thomas Ambrosino (Laurie Giardella) of Nahant; his granddaughters, Brianna, Brittany and Alexandra; his great grandchildren, Olivia and Eva Sweezey; and his siblings, Gilda "Gail" Hagstrom of Revere, Violet Finamore, Phillip, Louis, Anthony and Alphonse Ambrosino. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Frederick's name to Immaculate Conception Church, 133 Beach St, Revere, MA 02151.
