He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Bertman and Mollie Bertman (Wexler); and his brother Jack Bertman. He is survived by: his wife Muriel Bertman (Brooks); his daughters, Anne Yanow (Mark) and Susan Solomon; his grandchildren, Brooke Yanow, Jonathan Yanow (Jennifer) and Jared Solomon; and his sister Ruth Goldberg. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
