She was predeceased by : her parents, Ruth Lyford Mansell and Maurice Ames Mansell; her husband John Walter Steele; her son Arthur Gregory Steele; and her siblings, Richard Mansell and Dr. Ellen Mansell, MD.
She is survived by : her sisters, Margaret Payne of Kansas and Susan Krebs; her close friend Lester Phillips of New Hampshire; her children, Nathan Steele, Matthew (Diane Steele), Mariday Steele (Paul Geyer) and Carol Krimsky; her grandchildren, Ian, Ilona Steele, Rachael, Craig, Mark Geyer and John Caleb Steele; her grandchildren-in-law, Josue Martinez, Stephen Root, Sara Consolati and Lenea Cromartie; and her great grandchildren, Waylon, Althea, Leto, Solaris, Isabel, Miles and Valentine.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Elder Services of Berkshire County would be greatly appreciated, in recognition of the support their caretakers helped provide through the years.
