He was predeceased by: his parents, Timothy M. Mahoney and Goldie J. Mahoney (Balcom). He is survived by: his children, Debra A. Desmarais of Mansfield, Donna K. Mahoney of Mansfield, Carole L. Leavitt of Mansfield and Robert P. Mahoney, Jr. of Mansfield; his siblings, John Mahoney of Belmont, Richard Mahoney of South Boston and Carole Morin of Tewksbury; and his sister-in-law June Mahoney of Weymouth. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandson.
In lieu of flowers, Robert's family has requested that donations in his memory be made to the Perkins School for the Blind, 175 North Beacon St., Watertown, MA 02472.
