It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francis Hanifin of Roslindale, Massachusetts, born in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 29, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Irish and Mary Hanifin (McManus); his wife Sarah A. "Sally" McNeil (McNeil); and his siblings, John Maloney, Thomas Maloney, Robert Maloney and Mary Kenney.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Beth Hanifin of Foxborough, Francis J. "Frank" Hanifin Jr. (Shannon) of Attleboro, Linda A. Aucoin (Jack) of Attleboro and Robert L. Hanifin (Christine) of Wrentham; his grandchildren, Eric Schofield, Colleen Schofield, Brian Hanifin, Christopher Hanifin, Philip Hanifin, Jake Aucoin (Stephanie) and Patrick Aucoin; and his brother Jimmy Hanifin of Jamaica Plain. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
