She was predeceased by: her husband William Joseph Carley; her daughter Christine Bay; and her sister Mary Scanlon. She is survived by: her children, Joan Carley (Lee Hess), Laureen Smith (Dan) of Marstons Mills, William J. Carley, Jr. (Linda) of Walpole, Mary Ellen Carley of Roslindale and David Carley (Rebecca) of Wayland; her siblings, Barbara Harkins, Edna Ward and William Maguire, Jr.; her grandchildren, Kelly Bay-Poulin, Melissa Bay, David Ryer, Joshua, Stephanie, Daniel Smith, Jr., Christopher, Natalie, James and Ava Carley; and her great grandchildren, Dylan and Noah Poulin. She is also survived by her family, friends & neighbors.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the William J. Gormley Funeral Home (2055 Centre St, West Roxbury, MA 02132). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Name Church (1689 Centre St, West Roxbury, MA 02132).
