He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Sanborn Morong and Mildred Gwinn Reed; his wife Ann Smith; and his brothers, Carrol R. Morong and Marvin R. Morong.
He is survived by: his daughter Donna-Lee Morong of South Portland; and his brother Robert C. Morong of South Portland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hobbs Funeral Home (230 Cottage Rd, South Portland, ME 04106). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Highland Memorial (881 Highland Ave, South Portland, ME 04106).
