With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Christine Whalen of Salem, Massachusetts, born in Peabody, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 4, 2020 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Christina J. McManus (Heeney) and James W. McManus; her husband Edward T. Whalen; her son James C. Whalen; and her grandson Jason P. Bombaci.
She is survived by: her daughters, Christine A. Gunn (Charles), Mary Lou Bombaci (Peter) and Anne Marie Savy (Joseph); and her grandchildren, Matthew C. Gunn (Minka), Jonathan E. Gunn, Michael J. Whalen, Sarah Bombaci (Dan Hyland), Jessica Hasiotis (Costa), Vanessa Jenner (James) and Laura R. Morales. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by: her husband Edward T. Whalen; her son James C. Whalen; grandson Jason P. Bombaci, Sister Marjorie T. McManus Services are private due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
