He was predeceased by: his parents, George John Salerno Sr. and Mary Salerno (Zizza). He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Salerno (Baldasaro); his children, Michael Salerno of Salem, Robert Salerno of Denver and Karen O'Neil (Michael Pizzo) of Kingston; his grandchildren, Michael-Derek Salerno and James Thomas O'Neil; and his siblings, Richard Salerno (Peggy) of Saugus and Joyce Salerno of Revere. He is also survived by two step-grandchildren as well as loving uncle to his many nieces and nephews.
