She was predeceased by : her parents, Forrest Carpenter and Lillias Carpenter (Brewer); her son David Maynard; and her sisters, Vida, Esther, Ruth and Patricia.

She is survived by : her husband Harold G. Maynard; and her children, Robert, Paul Maynard of Savoy, Marlene Pavia and Beverly Maynard of Savoy. She is also survived by five granddaughters, four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
