He is survived by: his children, Alison Gomes (late Earl Dempster) of Kennesaw, GA, Kim Gomes (Orlando Rodriguez) of Port St and Emidio Gomes, Jr. (Ashley Blair) of Hull; and his aunts, Maria Lopes (late Joao Lopes) of Scituate and Maria DeVeiga (late Joseph DaVeiga) of Florida. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
