She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse James F. McDermott; her children, Ann McDermott of Texas, Joan Harrigan (Mark) of Scituate and James McDermott (MaryBeth) of Milton; her parents, John Byrne and Mary Byrne; and her siblings, John "Jack" Byrne and Ann Ravino. She was also cherished by 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
