He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frederick Herbert Abbott and Gertrude Mary Jackson; his wife Shirley Hubbard Abbott; his daughters, Gayle Aroian (Bob) of Barre, MA and Wendy Paradiso of Attleboro, MA; his grandchildren, Emily Aroian, Gabriel Aroian, Adam Aroian, Ian Aroian, Christina Paradiso, Michelle Theodat (Frank), Danielle Paradiso, Ashley Young (Jonathan), Erin Abbott-Gardner (Jonathan), Charles Abbott, William Hastings, Matthew Hastings, Mary Megan Hastings and Robert Hastings; his sisters-in-law, Joan Anderson and Betty Perkins (John); his former wife Beverly Glockner Abbott; and his son-in-law David Paradiso. He was also cherished by six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Congregational Church of Princeton.
