It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George H. Knittel of Shirley, Massachusetts, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on March 12, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Bridget Atkinson of Ashburn, VA, James Knittel of Groton, Maggie Porpora of Westminster, Matthew Knittel of Mechanicsburg, PA and Timothy Knittel of Groton; his wife Mary; his son George Michael Knittel; and his parents, George Knittel and Margaret Anna Knittel (Machold).
