He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Sampson and Mildred Sampson (Terrio); his wife Shirley M. Sampson (Kowal); his children, Lori Davis (Rick), Kim VanGerven (Virgil) and Thomas Sampson (Susie Shea); and his great grandchildren, Caden, Abigail, Bentley, Felix, Alexander and London. He was also cherished by 8 grandchildren.
