He is survived by: his children, William Lapsley (Anna) of Plymouth, James Lapsley of Dover, NH, David Lapsley (Erin) of Quincy and Katherine Ell (Robert) of Braintree; his siblings, Mary Groden of Franklin, Catherine Riley of Dedham, James Riley of Dedham, Robert Lapsley of Dedham and Kathy Lapsley of Dedham; and his grandchildren, Jack Lapsley, Jennifer Lapsley, Jessica Lapsley, Ava Lapsley, Ronan Lapsley, Adrienne Ell and Annaliese Ell. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bill may be made to Seasons Hospice, 1 Edgewater Drive, Norwood, MA 02062.
