It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Vandal of Auburn, Massachusetts, born in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 16, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Robert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman H. Vandal and Ann M. Vandal (Pescaro). He is survived by: his wife Lori E. Brennan; and his sister Marianne Boudreau (Robert) of Shrewsbury. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home (648 Main St, Shrewsbury, MA 01545). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Anne's Church (130 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury, MA 01545).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Bobby's name may be made to the Worcester Animal Rescue League (http://www.worcesterarl.org) to support the animals he cared for so deeply.
