He was predeceased by: his parent Charles Mendes; and his sibling Carolyn Everman. He is survived by: his parent Olive Mendes (Aguiar); his children, Bethany Christiansen and Brylee Mendes; his great grandchild Tenley Christiansen; Karen Mendes, Christopher Charles Mendes, Kelcie Mendes, Kevin Mendes, Christy Mendes, Alicia Kravitz, John Kravitz, Ashley Mendes, Brian Mendes, Siobhan Glennon Mendes, Cormac Charles Mendes, Kathy Sullivan, Kevin Sullivan, Abigail Sullivan and Grady Sullivan.
The family will be setting up a scholarship fund in Mr. Mendes honor in the near future any donations in his memory at this time can be forwarded to his family at 385 Old Colony Avenue, Somerset, MA 02726.
