He was predeceased by: his parent John Pavao; and his sibling John Pavao. He is survived by: his spouse Emma Pavao (Carvalho); his parent Mary Pavao (Souza); his children, Elizabeth F. Pereira (John) of Berkley, Joyce P. Rouy (Nicholas) of West Yarmouth, Thomas D. Pavao (Denise) of Ashfield and Scott Pavao (Martha) of New York City; his grandchildren, Margaret, Daniel and Joshua; and his brothers, Alfred Pavao of California and Michael Pavao of New Mexico. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
