With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna Saber Smith of Somerset, Massachusetts, born in Fall River, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 25, 2021. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edna Saber Smith to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Theodore "Ted" Smith; her parents, Charles Saber and Lena Saber (Latoof); and her brother Elias Louis Saber. She is survived by: her children, Marion Shaker (Robert), Theodore Smith, Jr. (Denise Messier) and David Smith; her grandchildren, Robert Shaker (Elizabeth), Rachael Filipe (Marco), Monique Womack (Brandon), Nichole Smith and Simonne Smith; her sister Gabrielle Tanber; her sisters-in-law, Alice Saber and Rosemary Saber; and her siblings, Charles Saber, Jr. and Freda Thomas (Saber). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
The family would like to offer their deepest appreciation to the entire staff at Somerset Ridge Center for all they have done for mom over the years, especially during the pandemic.
