She was predeceased by: her parents, Antone Marques and Mary Marques (White); her son Jeffrey Mello; and her sister Helen Costa. She is survived by: her children, Sandra J. Sparks (John) of Little Compton, RI, Norman Mello of Glastonbury, CT, Edward Mello of Somerset, MA, Ronald Mello (Diane), Deborah A. Gomes (Manny) of Ocala, FL, Darlene M. Stephens (Russell), Dorene E. Perreira (Manny) of Somerset, MA, Diane R. Mello of Somerset, MA, Stephen M. Mello (Ann) of Somerset, Dawn E. Mello (Keith) of Somerset, MA and Lori A. Bragantin (Stephen) of Warren, RI; her siblings, Delores Rose of Berkley, MA, Joseph Marques of East Taunton, Eva Costa and John Marques; and her daughter-in-law Janice Mello. She is also survived by twenty three grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
