He is survived by: his wife Deborah Mello (Case); his father Ronald Mello; his children, Corey Mello of New Bedford, Amanda Sanford (Charles) of Riverside, RI, Sarah Mello of Somerset, Timothy LaCroix and Dighton; his siblings, Robert Mello of Ocala, FL and Cheryl Whittier (Renee Rioux) of Tiverton; his son-in-law John Caldamone (Judy) of Myrtle Beach, SC; and his siblings' children, Laura Paquette of Santa Fe, TX and Christopher Whittier of Warwick, RI..

Due to covid restrictions, services will be held privately with the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals, Somerset, MA.
