He is survived by: his spouse Berta Ferreira (Correia Amaral); his daughter Susana Amaral Khan (Zahid) of Somerset; his sister Cristina Ferreira Pacheco (Manuel) of Fall River; his brother-in-law Gilbert Amaral (Ana) of Fall River; his grandchildren, Kevin Monte (Kayla) and Caitlyn Monte; his great grandchildren, Abigail Monte and Sophia Monte; and his brother Manuel V. Ferreira. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
