She was predeceased by: her spouse Bento Medeiros; her parents, Jose Costa and Margarida Costa; her son Carlos Medeiros; and her sister Fernanda Costa.

She is survived by: her children, Jose Medeiros (late Robin) of Fall River, Margarida Melo (Ildeberto) of Swansea and Aldora Sousa (Luis) of Fall River; and her daughter-in-law Geraldine Medeiros. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
