She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Melo and Maria Almeida; her child Joseph Miguel; and her siblings, Manuel, Jose, Antone Joaquim, Augustino, Maria, Evengelina, Louisa and Isabel.
She is survived by: her children, Arnold Miguel (Ana) of Somerset, Antone Miguel (Christine) of Somerset, Tomas Miguel of Somerset, Maria Martins (Antone) of Fall River, Luisa Manchester (Roger) of Somerset, Genoveva Gray of Dartmouth and Hilda Cabral (Jimmy) of Fall River. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
