He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard A. Joynt and Ella Joynt (Simister); and his brother William Joynt. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Joynt (Patterson); his children, Gerald D. Joynt (Marilyn) of Somerset, Susan Dionne Smith (David) of Somerset, Robert F. Joynt (Sandra) of Somerset and Donna R. Berg (William) of Seekonk; his sister Julie Collins of Somerset; his grandchildren, Marc Dionne, Matthew Dionne, David Joynt, Melissa Stevens, Greg Joynt, Kevin Joynt, Laura Haskell and Michael Berg; and his great grandchildren, Ryan Dionne, Conor Dionne, Lyla Joynt, Avery Stevens, Colson Stevens, Mason Joynt, William Dionne and Andrew Dionne.
Masks are requested due to health limitations among the immediate family. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to a charity of one's choosing.
