She was predeceased by: her spouse Alvarez "Sam" Silvia; her sister Mary Medeiros; and her uncle John. She is survived by: her daughter Gail M. Silvia (Martha Dufresne); her siblings, Alice Silvia and Deolinda Ignacio; and her aunt Emily Ignacio (Medeiros). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
