It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Commander Biagio Eugene Fantasia Usn of Somerville, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 17, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his son Michael (Corina Trujillo); his grandson Ryan; his parents, Romolo and Maria (DiMaggio); and his sisters, Theresa (Caliri) and Mary (Delaney).

He is survived by : his wife Frances Marie (Gobiel); and his children, Eugene (KK Meigs), David (Lynne Gifford), Ann Marie (Larry Webster), Denise (Steve Bellah), Michelle of Dale Traficante, M. D., Karen and Jennifer (Michael Beaudoin). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers and in his honor, please donate a tree in a National Park of your choice.

I planted 10 in Arizona in memory of you. The family is starting to get back to our new normal since you left us. Mom is visiting Shelly for a month and will spend Christmas there.
