She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald F. McCarthy; her parents, Margaret Scanlan (Fleming) and Leo V. Scanlan; and her sister Peggy Stronach (Clifford). She is survived by: her siblings, Rose Marie Scanlan of Somerville, Jean Morrison (Ernest) of Brockton and Claire Maestri of Burlington. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
