Carmela left this world on April 15, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Lentini and Angelina Lentini; her siblings, Guy Lentini and Mary Lentini; and her husband Richard F. Whalen II of South Boston.
She is survived by: her children, Richard F. Whalen III (Kathleen Marshall) of Lakeville and Angela Pilling of Berkley; her grandchildren, Shawn and Ashley; her daughter Mary Ann Breen (Matt) of Bridgewater; her grandchildren, Kaitlin, Kirsten and John; her son Michael Whalen of South Boston; and her grandsons, Michael and Timothy. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
