She is survived by: her husband Frank F. Knippenberg; her children, Frank H. Knippenberg of South Boston, Kevin M. Knippenberg (Julie) of Duxbury, Sara A. Knippenberg of Colorado and Amy E. Murray (Orrett) of Brewster; her siblings, Donald Hooper of Nebraska, Peter Hooper of Florida, Ellen Lachapelle of Maine, James Hooper of Hull and John Hooper of Braintree; and her grandchildren, Kegan Knippenberg, Anthony Phillips, Benjamin Knippenberg and Molly Knippenberg. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joyce's honor to the Disabled Veterans of America.
