He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Joanne; his children, Leo Fitzsimmons and Joseph Fitzsimmons (Mia DeAndrade); his parents, Patricia Fitzsimmons and Leo Fitzsimmons (Ann); his siblings, Maryanne Patterson, Kathleen Fitzsimmons, Caroline Goolsby, William Fitzsimmons and Christine Bergeron; and his grandchildren, Maeve Elizabeth, Olivia Ryan and Matthew Thomas. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and a great nephew.
