In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire her loved ones, keeping Ida Mae's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Minnie Celena Clarkin Rowlings and James William Rowlings Sr. of Nova Scotia; and her father-in-law Joseph R. Sullivan Sr.. She is survived by: her mother-in-law Dorothea Sullivan of Jamaica Plain; her brother-in-law John L. Sullivan (Georgina) of Braintree; and her friends, Ted, Donna Bunnell of Jamaica Plain, Margaret Fitzgerald of Brighton, Lenny and Lisa Coakley of Yarmouth. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the William J. Gormley Funeral Home (2055 Centre St, West Roxbury, MA 02132). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Theresa Church.
