Jane Davenport Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jane Davenport (South Yarmouth, Massachusetts), who passed away on February 21, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Dansard and Barbara Dansard; her former husband Palmer Davenport; her son John Davenport; her brother DeWitt Dansard; and also Navarre Purcell.
She is survived by: her sister Harriett Purcell; her son DeWitt Davenport; her daughters-in-law, Susan Davenport and Kathy Davenport; her grandson Christian Davenport (Tabatha Eldridge); her son Timothy Boston; her granddaughters, Johanna Davenport Calica (Adam Calica) and Elizabeth Davenport; and her great grandchild Charles Davenport.
Over the years Jane became involved with many Cape Cod community organizations leaving behind a legacy of generosity and giving, including the Palmer and Jane D. Davenport Foundation.
