He was predeceased by : his spouse Jean Poirier. He is survived by : his children, Maureen St. Hilaire of Arlington, MA, Catherine Rooney of Bloomfield Hills, MI, Barbara Poirier of Waltham, MA, Joseph Poirier of Chelmsford, MA and Paula Poirier of Wakefield, MA.; and his niece Eileen Hackbardt. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and two sons-in-law.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Chapman Funerals & Cremations - Yarmouth (58 Long Pond Dr, South Yarmouth, MA 02664). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (5 Barbara St, South Yarmouth, MA 02664).
