It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phyllis Rita (Rogazzo) Bono of South Yarmouth, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 9, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Vincent Anthony Bono; her parents, Angelo Rogazzo and Mary Frances Rogazzo (Imbaro); and her siblings, Raymond Rogazzo (late Tina Rogazzo) and Evelyn Spears (Kenny Spears) of Marlboro.
She is survived by: her daughter Gail Lucy Ricci (Joe) of Mansfield; her grandchildren, Joe, Jessica and James Ricci; her cousin Annette Arena of Canton; and her sisters-in-law, Marie Marchese of Everett, Sheila Bono of Malden and Ann Bono (Michael Brooks) of Braintree.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home (55 N Main St, Mansfield, MA 02048). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
Due to the limitation of flowers allowed at the National Cemetery, Phyllis's family has requested that memorial contributions be made in her memory to the Stroke Foundation, 6405 Metcalf Avenue, Suite 214, Overland Park, Kansas 66202.
