It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William H. Donovan of South Yarmouth, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 17, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William H. Donovan to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Donovan and Gertrude Donovan (Dorsey); and his brother Joseph. He is survived by: his wife Alyce Power; his children, Maryalyce (Ellen Cummings), Paul (Maria Sullivan), William (Pamela), Patricia and Kathleen (Arthur Sisko); his grandchildren, Abigail, Grace, Emily, Bella, Raeden and Teagan; his sister Mary O'Connell; his sisters-in-law, Maryann Donovan and Mary Looney; and his siblings, Margaret, Catherine, Anne, Joan and John. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Hallett Funeral Home (273 Station Ave, South Yarmouth, MA 02664). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Pius X Church (5 Barbara St, South Yarmouth, MA 02664).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. John's Food for the Poor in Worcester or the Family Table Collaborative in South Yarmouth.
