It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Wittner Yoo (South Yarmouth, Massachusetts), who passed away on July 16, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Katherine Alma Yoo and William Beaupre Yoo; and his brother David Yoo of Yarmouthport, MA.. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Pires Yoo; his children, Kelly Haynes (Andrew Meyers) of Sharon, MA and Matthew Yoo (Jeannette Yoo); his grandchildren, James and Brooke Yoo of Rochester, MA.; and his sister-in-law Christine Pires of Surprise. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chapman Funerals & Cremations - Yarmouth (58 Long Pond Dr, South Yarmouth, MA 02664). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Pius X Church (5 Barbara St, South Yarmouth, MA 02664).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill's memory may be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital.
