She is survived by: her parent Carlos Alfredo Alvarez; her husband Richard Tranfaglia of Southborough; her mother Amelia Adela Alvarez of Southborough; her siblings, Carlos Alvarez of Worcester and Ivonne Silva (Matthew Silva) of Clayton, MO; her siblings-in-law, Carol Tranfaglia (Timothy Osborne) of Woodinville, WA and Robert Tranfaglia (Loretta) of Medway; her siblings' children, Alessandra, Verónica, Dominique Silva of Clayton, MO, Julia Tranfaglia of Medway and Joshua Tranfaglia of Medway; Ivonne.
Erika asked that friends remember her with donations to support leiomyosarcoma research at Massachusetts General Hospital.
