She was predeceased by: her parents, Pompilio Fontana and Armida Fontana; and her sisters, Eleanor Bardy, Irene Champagne and Lillian Mandeville.
She is survived by: her husband Herbert C Barnes; her son Herbert H Barnes (Jo-Ann) of Falmouth; her grandsons, Scott Barnes (Courtney) of San Diego, Jeffrey Barnes (Stephanie) of San Diego and Jonathan Barnes of Marlborough; her great grandchildren, Jacob Barnes, Hailey Barnes and Mitchell Barnes; and her brother Harry Fontana (Dorothy). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
