She was predeceased by: her parent Elliott Fields; her husband Theodore Matthews; and her son James Goodson, Jr.. She is survived by: her parent Rosalee Fields (Lucas); her children, Dianne Hanley, Jerlene Lewis, Joyce Bass (Ronald), Jerome Goodson and Deirdre Walls (Randy); and her brother Jim Fields (Margaret). She is also survived by ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
