It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Mackie (Springfield, Massachusetts), who passed away on May 10, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Wycliffe Nashville; and her husband Alexander D. Mackie. She is survived by: her parent Hazel Nashville (Taylor); her son Al Mackie Jr.; her wife Jeanne of Wilbraham; her daughter Kim Kurpaska (Edward) of Venice, FL; her grandchildren, Jennifer Deforest (James) of Wilbraham, Danny Mackie of Springfield, Michael Mackie (Nicole) of Wilbraham, Anthony Maggi of Venice, FL, Jamie Mackie (Kristin) of Longmeadow, Courtney Teece (Shawn) of Hampden and Laura Gonzales (Emiliano) of Northport, FL; and also, Dean Mackie (Kathy) of Springfield and Gene Mackie of East Longmeadow. She is also survived by her 8 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
