She was predeceased by: her parent Lottiebell Malden (Jacobs) of Springfield Massachusetts; and her sisters, Joan Thompson and Elleese Lake. She is survived by: her parent Leon Curtis Malden of Springfield Massachusetts; her child Monique Downs-Jacobs; her sister NeeAnn Williams of Denver Colorado; her aunts, Althea Martin, Edith Johnson and Eleanor Jacobs; and also, Vaughn Little-Jacobs, Larry Finney Jr., Charles Williams III, Nylah Williams, Dewitt Jacobs (Kaya), Demetrius Jacobs and Vinson Marion. She is also survived by 7 nephews, 2 nieces, 9 great-nephews, 7 great-nieces, 3 great-great-nephews, 6 great-great-nieces and a host of cousins.
