He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Roy Boyd Sr. and Adalene Troupe Boyd Draper; his brother Eddie Roy Boyd; and his brother-in-law Carl Leatherberry. He is survived by: his daughters, Alicia Boyd and Keturah Bryan; and his siblings, Regina Leatherberry, Elanor Boyd, Crystal Moffet, Cherita Winston (Elyssie), James Boyd and Arlando Boyd Sr.. He is also survived by grandchildren, a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, saints, and friends.
