He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Person and Edna Person (Tracy). He is survived by: his wife Gloria Person (O'Neil) of Springfield; his children, Wendy Person of East Longmeadow, Brenda Penland of Erwin, TN and Brian Person (Lisa) of Wilbraham; and his grandchildren, Abigail Person, Timothy Person, Kyle Penland and Justin Penland.

Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Children Hospital.
