It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Fontaine (Springfield, Massachusetts), born in Worcester, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 25, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Fontaine and Frieda Fontaine (Bombard). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Fontaine (Rowett); his children, Gregory Fontaine (Tamre) of Lebanon, CT, Judy Webber (Jim) of Longmeadow, Karen Shea (Philip) of Springfield, Christopher Fontaine (Susan) of Hampden, William Fontaine (Jean) of West Springfield and James Fontaine of Springfield; and his sister Louise Brown of Springfield. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
